Using high-quality ingredients to recreate local recipes in a contemporary way, these professional and amateur local chefs will open their venue to give you a very special culinary experience.

This dinner experience aims to give you one of the richest travelling experiences you can ever have – the opportunity to enjoy a meal with a family in a local home. This is a rare chance for you to experience real life exactly in Brasov, to hang out with locals, and get to know Romanian culture through their eyes, and their best of all their food!
You’ll be met at the meeting point by a member of the family who speaks English and head back to your hosts’ home, where you’ll meet the family and get your aprons on!
You can do as much or as little as you want in terms of cooking in the kitchen. If you’re keen on learning Romanian cooking techniques and recipes this is your chance! If you want to sit back, chat, and relax, you’re in your new Romanian home.
When the food is ready you’ll all sit down to share the meal and all you have to do is enjoy. The families who we work with come from all walks of life. Some you might find have a similar lifestyle to your own, whereas others might come from a very different background. This is your chance to get to know the people of Romania in their own homes. The beauty of this is that everyone involved in our ‘share a meal’ experience is done by someone who wants to meet travellers and share experiences with them, and from people who want to hear your stories too!
